Northern Ireland - 7-day camper van tour

We love Northern Ireland. From city life in it’s capital Belfast to the windswept cliffs of the north and the cosy harbours of the south – a host of hidden wonders awaits.

Start in Belfast and there’s so much to explore. From the Cathedral Quarter and the famous Titanic docks, this is a handsome, lively city that loves its music festivals. Stay at Dundonald Touring & Caravan-Park. Take the world famous road trip and head north out the city on the Causeway Coastal route. It winds its way up to the wild north Atlantic coast – where mystical black basalt stones and clifftop walks await you at the stunning Giant’s Causeway. Stay at Watertop farm (We’d probably include a stop here for a warming dram at the famous Bushmills whisky distillery!). Northern Ireland is a place where castles abound, so make sure to stop at beautiful Mussenden Temple on the way to Derry/Londonderry, famous for its 17th century city walls. Drive south to the pretty port of Portaferry via Lough Neagh to sample its seafood, fresh from the waters of Strangford Lough. Take the ferry over to Strangford to explore eccentric Castle Ward – before heading back to Belfast.
