The Goodwood Festival of Speed is fast approaching - and it’s perfect for camper-vans.

The awesome festival of Speed at the glorious Goodwood Estate in West Sussex is one of the Kamper Hire team’s favourite events.

Touted as Motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party, it’s a celebration of motor-racing in all its guises. You can get up close to the cars and bikes as they race around the track, meet the drivers and mingle with the famous vehicles and famous faces which make motorsport one of the most glamorous sports in the world.

This year’s event will takes place between the 29th June and the 2nd July and there’s so much to do and see that it’s going to be seriously hard to fit it all in.

There’s the Hillclimb, which sees an impressive collection of different cars, heading around the estate track and a huge array of stands, run by the biggest car manufacturer’s in the world.

You can marvel at the Action sports displays too - freestyle motocross, Trials, BMX and Mountain Bike stars all showing what they can do. There’ll be rally driving, aviation and air displays too - as well as a chance to see some of the most incredible supercars and luxury sports cars.

The camping facilities at Goodwood Festival of Speed are excellent - so you can enjoy the whole weekend and stay right in the heart of things. There are also plenty of campsites in the Goodwood area so it’s the perfect opportunity to head along in your own set of sporty wheels - in the form of one of our snazzy VW T6 California Ocean campervans.

Pick up your camper van from our Hampshire HQ (you can leave your car safely with us). Head over to The Goodwood Estate (it takes less than an hour) and once you’ve pitched up you’ll have accommodation for four, your own cooking facilities, bar and entertainment system all ready for you onc you’ve worn yourself out at the festival.

At Goodwood you can stay on site with electric hook up, toilets, showers and 24 hour security. There’s even a family-friendly campsite (complete with play area) away from the main campsite - with a shuttle bus to take you to the main site. Find out more here.
