Happy Kampers

Just wanted to write to say again what a great trip we had in the VW California. The van was perfect, both as a vehicle and a home. Whether cruising on the Autoroute or winding through the Alps, the van was smooth, responsive and totally reliable. The interior is so well designed it makes setting up/packing up a quick, easy and pleasurable experience, and provided all the comfort and convenience we needed, and with style! The van received a number of admiring remarks from other 'campers', and we very quickly grew attached to it. It was a real shame to have to hand it back to you after a fabulous month on the road in France. Thanks for making it possible for us. Hopefully be making our next booking soon.

We have just returned from a 12 week adventure across Europe in the fabulous VW T5 camper and just wanted say a big thank-you to Mark for helping us out through the whole process and for providing the fabulous van. What a little champ!!! It had everything we needed, easy to set up, easy to cook in and surprisingly comfortable to sleep in. It maneuvered its way through the windy roads of Norway, endured the shocking roads of Poland and took the autobahn's in its stride. Even the tiny streets in Italy were no issue for it. Mark provided a great service that surpassed all other hire companies we have dealt with in the past. Not only was he extremely helpful leading up to the holiday, he was only a quick email away with any questions we had during the trip. Alex and I will definitely be using your services again (we already miss the van) and would (and will) recommend you to anyone. A big thank you again!!!

We have just completed a 5 weeks touring holiday of the UK.This style of camper was the choice, as we wanted something comfortable, fuel efficient, reliable, fast on the motorways, small enough for the country roads and to give total ease of parking. A motor home did not meet these requirements. We do a lot of touring in Australia, so we were seeking a similar experience to what we were used to down under. The style of camper from Kamperhire lived up to all those expectations. Mark, the principal, was a pleasure to deal with prior to us leaving home and during our time in the UK. He is prompt in his response to emails and phone calls to Aus. The pick up and drop off arrangements were to clock work. The fit out of the van had met most of our requirements. The bedding (doona, doona cover and pillows) were more than adequate for the weather conditions and he added extra sleeping bags just in case. For Australian & NZ hirers - be advised that the caravan parks do not have camp kitchens or BBQ's like of most of Australia. You will have to make alternate arrangements for the cooking of this style of food - am sure Mark can advise to this if that is what is required. We will be back to complete the UK and Ireland and look forward to dealing with Mark at Kamperhire again.

My husband and I hired a van from Mark at www.kamperhire.co.uk from July to September 2011. We could not have been happier with the service we received. Mark went out of his way to ensure that everything ran smoothly and was very compromising with the delivery and pick up. We found that the price of the van was very good when we compared it with other vans. We were also pleased with the size of the van. We found that we could get through narrow roads with no problems and the fuel economy was just brilliant. The way the van was set up really suited our needs. The sleeping area in the top of the van was very comfortable, with plenty of ventilation, especially on those hot summer nights in the south of France and Italy. We are a couple of elderly Australians and wanted to hire a van and camp around Britain and Europe. You and your company were so wonderful to deal with and all the enquiries were dealt with efficiently, friendly and quickly. In short, we had a great experience with Mark and his company KamperHire. We were in Wales last June representing Canada at the Commonwealth Fly Fishing Championships in and around Llandrindod Wells. We flew into Heathrow and Mark delivered the California VW camper van to us at the hotel. After a quick run down on all the features of the van, we were off to Wales on schedule. The vehicle was in tip top shape, and had additional features that we hadn’t expected (you gotta love those Germans!) On returning to London, after a very successful competition, Mark came by bus to the hotel to pick up the van, and then dropped us off at the Air Canada terminal for our flight home. If you are wondering should you hire a bigger motorhome or the more compact Campervan for touring. I can tell you I am so glad we chose the Campervan, it goes anywhere, you can park in towns, just like a car, drive down narrow streets and not be restricted, making your touring holiday more enjoyable. The larger motorhomes have to park on the outskirts of town and are often not allowed to park at the "Park & Rides" as well. And why did we choose Kamperhire, simple, those little extras I did not have to worry about were all included in the price, plus pick up and drop off to suit us - real service, we were really treated as the customer, I would certainly use Kamperhire again. Our initial enquiries re the hire of a van for touring in the UK were met with prompt, efficient and friendly customer service from Mark. Subsequently we hired and picked up our 4 berth Californian for two weeks of wonderful camping. We hired a camper last year at xmas from Mark when we went travelling around Europe. France, Belgium, Germany and Holland for 2 weeks. We had an absolutely fab time and we're so glad we chose Kamper hire. The pictures really don't due the camper justice. They are extremely comfortable, spacious, warm [which was essential being in snowy weather!], powerful and really easy to drive. We are planning to rent one again when our baby son is a little older because we had so much fun and it was a real adventure!! :)

We have relatives and many friends in England and wanted to be able to visit them easily, do a lot of sight-seeing and have the independence of our own accommodation whilst travelling around.??The VW T5 campervan we hired was extremely well appointed and kitted out, it was very easy to drive, economical to run and extremely comfortable to cook, eat and sleep in. Our Kamperhire holiday in 2007, was one of the best and most relaxing holidays we have ever had. The staff were very polite and helpful and spent plenty of time familiarising us with the Camper van before we set off. The T5 vans are maintained to the highest spec, and were in pristine condition inside and out, and thoughtfully stocked with all the items you need for a hassle free holiday. We spent an enjoyable 2 weeks touring Northern Scotland, the vehicle is perfect to explore remote places in comfort, even on hundreds of miles of single track roads in the far north, it never felt too big and was a joy to drive. Once you have tried this style of travel and the freedom it gives you, you will never want to go on a conventional holiday again..if you enjoy the outdoors you will love this way of getting out there.. we enjoyed it so much we have now bought our own T5 Camper.
